I guess it wasn't the right time for Pastor Jamal and Gizelle Bryant to rekindle their love.
I'm not gonna lie, I was excited when I found out that Pastor Bryant and Gizelle had gotten back together. I had been following the both of them since their days leading the Empowerment Temple in Baltimore.
They were married for 7 years with three beautiful girls before divorcing in 2009.
Fast forward and Jamal becomes the pastor of New Birth in Georgia and Gizelle is starring on RHOP. She was there when he said goodbye to the Empowerment Temple and hello to New Birth. They were commenting on each other's Instagram posts and then BOOM he made an appearance on the RHOP and it was on and popping from there.
Now, the RHOP star is revealing that the two have called it quits again, citing the distance due to COVID-19.
"We were working on us getting back to together ... but he lives in Atlanta [and] I live in Maryland ... with the pandemic...we just realized it's not the right time. It's just not going to work," she shared on the Breakfast Club with friend Robyn Dixon.
Even though we may not get to see these two marry again, Gizelle shared that they are still a part of each others lives.
"We've been in each other's lives for 25 years," she continued. "He is one of my best friends [and] I to him. I don't know anyone more than I know a Jamal Bryant. No, we're not together, but yes, we are still in each other's lives."
Man! I was so ready to see these two tie the knot again.
