I don't know if you guys caught this, but I went to Jamaica last weekend with three good girl friends for a girls weekend. I mentioned it briefly in a post, but want to tell you a bit more here. First, I want to thank Andrea from Susan Peavey Travel for arranging the trip. She has mad vacation planning skills!
We stayed at Beaches Ocho Rios. I'd never done an all inclusive before, and it was actually pretty awesome not having to worry about having money, tipping, etc. And being able to eat and drink as much as you want (which we did!) plus do boat rides, water sports, etc. - all included. I could totally get used to it.
Here are a few photos of the resort:
And the food. OMG. It was amazing!
This is my plate of antipasto. It was my appetizer one night. And I ate every bite. All by myself.
I thought I was going to explode, but it was SO worth it:
And check out the restaurant settings - many right on the water. It was heaven:
This was our room, and although we didn't spend any time in it, it was beautiful:
This is where we spent most of our time - at the swim up pool bar :) Shout out to the best bartender ever, Romain, even though I know he won't see this!
And here is me, second from the left, with my three girl friends that I am SO lucky to have in my life:
I don't plug many (any) vacation places or travel agents here, but this one was good enough that I wanted to tell you about it. And seriously, Susan Peavey Travel (here) is SO well regarded, and with good reason. I'll never use anyone else and will never book a vacation without them again. They saved us a TON of money and planned an absolutely perfect weekend for us.

Ok, onto the rooms. These images are all new to me, and I hope they are to you as well. I write many of my posts in advance, and often forget when I have posted a photo before. I make mistakes a lot, posting the same image over and over, and don't realize until well after. I hope you don't notice too much. But all of these, I'm almost positive, are new to me. I love the pops of color in all of them:
