Jacob & Co. enters into the metaverse with the launch of their new watch collection. Astronomica Metaverso collaborated with UNXD on this project “was made public.

Astronomica Metaverso is a collection that represents the universe in a variety of ways.

Jacob & Co. designed the collection based on the stories from their Astronomia line. They also introduced the first three timepieces from the eight-piece collection on Wednesday. They did say, however, that Pluto was not one of the planets that inspired any of their watches. They started with the Venus and Mars watches, which were genuine clocks with NFTs inside.

This is the first time in the firm’s history that it hasn’t had a first in terms of NFTs. In April 2021, Jacob & Co. introduced the NFT timepiece. The SF24 Tourbillon timepiece sold for $100,000 at auction.

Jacob & Co. CEO Benjamin Arabov uses a unique comic book and a cinematic video to convey the collection’s story and development. He refers to this as “crypto comic culture,” as he puts it. They want to attract the curiosity of watch and cryptocurrency enthusiasts, he added. At the same time, they need to come up with new ways to use their present product range.

The NFT watches may be used as membership cards as well. It gives the owner with future digital, physical, and sensory benefits. By buying this item, the owner will be able to participate in future Jacob & Co. digital events.

Shashi Menon and Nick Gonzalez, co-founders of UNXD, expressed their gratitude for the inclusion of real luxury watches in this launch in a statement.

“The watches demonstrate Jacob and Co.’s sincere passion for building something original in this field,” he remarked. We expect collectors will respond as a consequence of this increased investment.”

The timepieces of Astronomia Metaverso may be viewed in their entirety on this page. Bulgari, on the other hand, has created a limited-edition NFT of their unique timepiece.
