Whenever I think of summer I can't help but think of classic American clothing, maybe it's because it's the season of sailing and nautical inspirations in fashion, classic lightweight styles and weekend jaunts to the Hamptons. So it's not difficult to think of J. McLaughlin when thinking of classic American summer fashion. For their summer 2013 collection, Creative Director Kevin McLaughlin was inspired by the "quiet authority" of the color blue.
"The palette married with our prints in all their permutations elevates something like a bohemian dress to downright elegant and takes the classics up a notch with a sense of fun.” - Creative Director, Kevin McLaughlin
