J. Cole on why he’s not releasing music & his dislike for social media and reality shows

Cole sat down with 24HH and Vevo in a 2 minute video to discuss why he has such a slow release on music, social media, and the new fad over reality television.
Cole states he’s “not into playing internet games, keeping up with that little rat race.” As the overwhelming amount of new music being released every hour on the hour may take the shine off of alot of rappers, it can indeed feel like a constant fight for attention between new artist and old artists alike.
J. Cole then speaks about reality tv, “I have a notorious dislike for that culture,” saying that “corporations are pimping blacks who live life one this level, this real petty level, and just go extra hard for the cameras.”
I definitely agree on that!
