Inter University Students’ Federation Convener (IUSF) Wasantha Mudalige was ordered to be remanded till January 13 by Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage yesterday. The suspect was produced before the Colombo
Fort Magistrate’s Court yesterday. He was arrested in connection with obstructing the duties of police officers during a protest near Bank Road on May 9. The Police informed the Magistrate that the suspect had also damaged the road barriers as well.
