Itinerary & Expenses for Myanmar Trip

Myanmar is one of the places that is still relatively unspoilt by tourism, but I can already see the changes happening and are about to happen.

Here is a breakdown of my itinerary and expenses for my 5 days, 4 nights tip to Myanmar:

30,000 kyats - Round trip bus Yangon to Bagan

7,000 kyats - Transfer from hotel to bus station in Yangon

27,000 kyats - Horse cart rental from sunrise to sunset in Bagan

*Exchange rate of 970 kyats to $1 USD = $244 total expenses
I was only traveling by myself which made a lot of things more expensive. I did a lot of walking to and from places while I was in Yangon to save a little extra. Overall, Myanmar is expensive compared to other Southeast destinations like Vietnam and Thailand. I have met friendly, unfriendly, and opportunistic people while in Myanamr, but I liked the people in general.
Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival Yangon
Visit Botataung Pagoda, Sule Pagoda
City tour by foot
Visit Shwedagon Pagoda and Karaweik Palace at night
Day 2
Visit Shwe Bone Pwint, Maha Wizara, and Shwedagon Pagoda again
Overnight bus to Bagan
Day 3
Sunrise to sunset Bagan tour on horse cart (Shwezigon Pagoda, Htilominlo, Ananda Phaya, Dhamma Yangyi Temple, Thatbyinnyu Temple, and Shwesandaw Pagoda, and minor temples)
Day 4
Mt. Popa
Overnight bus to Yangon
Day 5
Fly back to Kuala Lumpur

You can easily find the requirements needed for Filipinos who want to visit Myanmar online, but here's a quick rundown of the things you need to bring:
