Verdict on It’s What’s Inside
It’s What’s Inside is a sci-fi comedy following a group of friends who meet for a pre-wedding get-together. They decide to play an experiment game where they can swap bodies. However, it leads to consequences that have been controlling them for the last decade.
This movie starts out with an interesting concept before spiralling out of control. It uses the idea of body swapping being a twisted game that brings out the worst in each of the characters. However, it goes in a direction that you wouldn’t expect, and it doesn’t do enough to suggest about. It leaves the movie feeling a lot more empty than it suggests despite some wacky situations the characters find themselves in. This leads us down a path of social media menace and an idea which could have worked well, but they went for something on top which felt completely out of place.
Where to Watch
It’s What’s Inside is available on Netflix now.
Final Thoughts – It’s What’s Inside is trying too hard to make an extra twist to a smart idea.
