The sale is not limited to winter clothes; Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale features beauty products, lingerie, jewelry, handbags, and much more. The prices are pretty amazing, and there’s often pieces seen in the sale that you never see again (and wish you could).
I have a Nordstrom card and had early access to the sale, the things I bought:
Betsey Johnson Collarless Animal Print Coat
It’s a low nap felty furry texture that is so lovely, and a classic style with the leopard print that I adore so much. Last year I bought this coat from Via Spiga and ADORED it; I see this as a slightly dressier version that will get a lot of play this fall and winter, and the $109.90 sale price is quite nice.
Halogen Zip Pocket Leather Skirt
Last Anniversary Sale I purchased my black pleated leather skirt from Halogen and it was by far the most worn piece all fall and winter (and will likely be a popular piece this coming season). I really liked the details on this skirt, from the seaming to the pockets to the low-slung waist. While I’m usually a black leather gal, I have a thing for this color of brown and love how it looks with black as well as jewel tones and denim/chambray. At $149.90 I couldn’t resist!
Halogen Leather Front Top
Last Anniversary Sale I purchased a black leather-front top from Halogen that was sleeveless and had a peplum. I bought too small and by time I realized it, it was sold out. I also realized I didn’t want the peplum, and I prefer a sleeve. I guess Halogen read my mind with this tee shirt! I can’t wait to pair it with a floaty chiffon skirt (maybe my Ann Taylor maxi), or wear with boyfriend jeans and booties. I also think it would look great for the office with black trousers and pumps. Less than $100 for leather? Yes please!A few other things from the Sale that are on my radar:

It has become a classic, and it’s a pretty convenient size and style of crossbody. Gorgeous colors, nice leather, great style, and only $129.90!
Bernie of New York Faux Leather Trim Vest
I would style this completely differently from Nordstrom and prove it’s not frumpy. I mean come ON, pleather palliates? Imagine it over a simple shift dress, with a white tank and distressed boyfriend jeans and ankle boots, belted over a frock… I think it’s a pretty fun way to update wardrobe classics and at $58.90 you won’t have buyer’s remorse
Another Line Leopard Print Calf Hair Belt
I suggest such a belt in almost every wardrobe capsule I create because it’s so unique yet versatile. I have many belts from Another Line and find the quality quite good. The calfhair makes it look more luxe, there’s two colors to choose from, and at less than $40 it’s a budget-friendly way to update your wardrobe for fall.
Nordstrom Collection Cashmere Wrap
I swear by Nordstrom pashminas – they are great weight and quality. I like that this one has the fringe edges, a nice update to a classic. 15 colors to choose from and less than $100 – this is a staple you will enjoy this fall and for many years to come.
Clarks “Rosepoint Dew” Bootie
Each fall I wish I had a bootie like this. A wedge which is kinder to the foot than a standard heel, a neutral shade that works with skirts and pants and jeans, a classic look that still is on trend. In black and brown suede, pair with opaque tights and a skater skirt, with boyfriend jeans and a slouchy cardigan, with skinny jeans and a blazer, even with a shift dress and patterned hose. Clarks is known for comfort and quality, and these boots at less than $90 is a steal.
Halogen Seamed Pencil Skirt
I have this skirt, I love this skirt, I recommend this skirt to anyone, especially when it’s on sale for $45.90. Available in regular and petite up to size 16 and seven different great colors, it’s a great addition to the wardrobe.

Look at that seaming detail, how freaking COOL is this skirt?
