It’s not too late to join the New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge. We’ll be posting links to books we read to support our New Year’s resolutions through the rest of January: New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge — Review Links. You can also join a lively crowd talking about books and goals on Wednesday evenings — #NewYearBooks on Twitter, 9 Eastern / 8 Central / 2am GMT.
We’ll finish The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg on Wednesday — if you’ve read it before, let me know if you want an advanced copy of the final questions. We covered part 2 last week: The Power of Habit — Group Read — Part 2 Discussion.
Read
I read Culinary Intelligence by Peter Kaminsky awhile ago, but finally cooked something from it last week so I wrote up my review for Weekend Cooking: Book Review: Culinary Intelligence by Peter Kaminsky.
I finished Pale Demon by Kim Harrison. It was fun and exciting with some deepening relationships for witch Rachel Morgan. I missed not having more of Jenks, the pixy, and Ivy, the vampire, though. I’m addicted to this series.
Reading
I’m still reading Smart Chefs Stay Slim by Allison Adato, one of my selections for the New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge.
Will Read
Next is another New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge to support my resolution to figure out weight maintenance: Thin for Life by Anne Fletcher. I also want to begin our next book for the Diversity Book Club: Elizabeth and Hazel: Two Women of Little Rock by David Margolick.
What are you reading?
It’s Monday! What Are Your Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila of Book Journey. Be sure to check out her post today to see her selections and the list of links to all the other participating bloggers.
