Verdict on It’s Coming
It’s Coming is a documentary about the Vega family. They live in Brooklyn and have been haunted for years. Most hauntings have been watching or hearing noises, and there is nothing violent toward the family. However, now they want to get rid of the spirits as the children are getting older and noticing them more.
We follow the different plans put in place to deal with the ghosts and how the family goes about solving them. Each method presents different problems for the family to overcome. This feels like a documentary that could go either way. On one side, it is just a documentary trying to help a family. While on the other side, it feels like a documentary for entertainment purposes. It never quite gets the scares for that side, and it leaves everything down to what you think is going on in the empty spaces.
This is one the paranormal documentary fans will enjoy, it gives us a family who need help without anything become too terrifying. It doesn’t aim to be overly cinematic, rather restrained in what we experience with the family.
