The older I get, the more I appreciate a great denim piece. I've also found that the older I get, the more inclined I am to splurge on great denim, mostly because I know I will get years of use out of it. Now back to appreciating great denim. I have never owned, but have always wanted a longer more relaxed style denim jacket. When I saw this one online (and realized it was only $67), I knew I had to get it. It is super cute styled with skinny jeans and a top, but when you button this one up, you can even style it as a dress! Yeah, you may see me doing that with boots this fall! ;)
I decided to pair this look with a few unexpected pops of print. I used a fun paisley print skinny scarf as a belt & added these checkered heels. Which, by the way, are another on my new favorites! I finished the look off with a top that was passed down to me from my grandma, hot pink earrings, and lots of gold jewelry. In the end I added a bright blue bag, because when it comes to wearing blue (for me anyway), more is more!
