It’s a London Thing is our Wednesday series in which we turn the spotlight on a unique aspect of London – perhaps a curious shop, sometimes an eccentric restaurant, a hidden place, book or oddity. The subject matter will be different every week. The running theme, however, will remain constant: you have to come to London to enjoy it. It’s A London Thing.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to draw the London Underground map from memory – setting yourself a 15 minute maximum time limit. It doesn’t have to be in the correct colours, but you MUST NOT PEAK AT THE REAL THING WHILE DOING IT.
It is much tougher than you think!
Our effort below shows just how hard it is…
We’ve completely forgotten the poor old Hammersmith & City Line – and the Waterloo & City line too. Our Central Line looks like it’s been the victim of severe cuts as it meanders in all the wrong directions and our poor old Jubilee Line is just a mess!
Can you improve on our mess of spaghetti?
