Tori Kelly just said yes to basketball player boyfriend, Andre Murillo.
Murillo posted the above photo on his Instgram page with a few words from the marriage vows, and the words “My best friend said yes.”
Tori’s fiance has a very powerful testimony. The German basketball player had been living a life devoted to the world when Christ radically changed his life.
While in college, Murillo almost lost his life in a stabbing. Murillo then turned to a life of drugs.
He was eventually put on probation in college, and tried to take drugs to deal with the pain, but they didn’t work.
At that moment, because he felt hopeless, Murillo contemplated taking his life.
At that moment, I fell to my knees and said, ‘Lord, forgive me!’ I was overcome by an overwhelming sense of love. I opened up the Bible and was given not only hope, but life. Andre’ was instantly saved from his drug addiction and fell in love with God. My tears of desperation turned into tears of repentance.”
