(Washington) Tropical Storm Isaias approached the coast of Florida on Sunday, with its procession of heavy rain and high winds, but is not expected to regain hurricane status before making landfall.

Isaias was blowing winds of 98 km / h Sunday afternoon, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported.

The Miami-based NHC clarified that Isaias “should approach the east coast of Florida on Sunday evening”, before returning Monday and Tuesday to the Atlantic.
