As we head towards her birthday, people have been asking me non-stop what she wants. In reality, Isabelle would probably be quite happy with a piece of paper to chomp on, and maybe a new ball too! But since she needs much more than that, I've been charged with coming up with a list of gifts we would like for her.
My main goal when choosing gifts is to get something which will last her for a while, and grow with her. We prefer wooden toys, and are hoping to get a few bigger toys to add in to our growing collection. As we are coming in to summer, I'm also really excited to get Isabelle some outdoor toys for the garden - a sand pit and water tray in particular. We did contemplate a swing and slide, but have these at my parents so decided we won't get them for now....maybe next year? Although two of the toys are technically sand toys, we hope to to use the tray just for water, and have the sand pit separate for year round sandy fun!
So, here are a few things which would be ideal for Isabelle's birthday. If she gets even half of these she will be a very lucky lady! I have a few special gifts for her from us too, but I won't ruin the surprise for her!
