One of the many designer collaborations with global fast fashion giant H&M, Isabel Marant has gone for an easy to wear but high quality aesthetic, which i predict will make this one of the most successful co-labs.
The collection fits well with current trends and products already on sale at the high street store and has a lower price tag than many past collaborations.
Despite all that however, I just dont feel so inspired by the collection. There is a real lack of color and glamour, its all about French chic and laid back street style - not really my thing. However the slouchy boots and sequined leggings are right up my street!
Im not the kinda girl to give up a lazy morning in my cozy bed just on the off chance of getting to the store early enough, to pick up one of my crush items. Unlike many of the silly ladies who queued outside the London store from 2am this morning, waiting 6 whole hours for the early 8am doors opening. So lets see whats left this evening when i pop in for a peek at the aftermath. Maybe a purchase will be in the bag, maybe not, it all depends if there is anything left on the racks after the craze!
