Is Video Really The BEST Way To Promote My Business?

By Lovegetssweeter @LoveGetsSweeter

92 percent of mobile video viewers share videos with others.

That’s an actual fact!

Video content is becoming more and more popular and people are spending longer online watching all this wonderful video content.

Can you imagine if that was your work? Your video getting shared online?

Imagine if it was actually a good one though? Not one you feel embarrassed to share…

Is Video Really The BEST Way To Promote My Business?

Well it is if it’s one people want to watch and even better if they create a connection right there and then and want to find out more about what you do!

Suddenly you become ‘you’!

People buy from people.

They love to see behind the scenes and see how much passion and love for the job you have before they commit to working with you.

It becomes more than just wedding flowers. More than just a bridal shop. More than a catwalk or magazine cover shoot.

It’s the attention to detail they see. Even the teamwork and effort involved.

With Facebook Business pages now having a cover video and people utilising video in adverts, Instagram stories as well as their feeds, now is the time to consider how video could really show off what you do! And, what you do best!

There’s ‘Behind The Scenes’ videos (perfect for those like me who HATE the idea of being on camera and especially talking) that capture things as they happen. Like the videos I’ve shared above and this one of a Autumn Shoot posted on Brides Up North

There are longer and more detailed promotional videos that use interviews to not only tell us more about that person, their business and what they do but it also creates a story.

Although more complex (and we have to get over ‘the fear’ of talking on camera) they are perfect to use on an ‘About Me’ page instead of loads of text!

If you pick someone who you connect with to create your video you can put your trust in them to get the best from you. Gets you from scared to comfortable with ease!

This was for Nicola at My Boudoir (who claimed she was camera shy too) and with over 10k of views it’s one of our most popular My Boudoir Promo videos still, after all these years!

I’ve introduced mini shoots for local companies recently that keep things affordable, take only an hour from your day and allow you to have mini clips of content to really share with your followers what you do.

I’m based in a lovely Lancashire town called Burscough but class local as most of the North West including Liverpool, Preston, Manchester, Cheshire, Wirral, Southport and many more!
