Is Prayer Telling God We Love and Adore Him? – Response to a Question

The question was posed: “Is prayer telling God we love and adore Him?” The short answer is yes and no, depending on what is in your heart. If you are praying sincerely from your heart to God our Father, then the answer is affirmative. But if you are not praying with genuineness, then no amount of prayer – especially vocal prayer – constitutes love and adoration of the Father, because it is not sincere. In prayer, as in every other thing we do, it is what is in our hearts that counts in the sight of God.
