Spring officially starts in a little more than a week, and I think it’s time to start updating our wardrobes! My goal this spring/summer is to 1) incorporate more fun colors and 2) experiment with different styles. One designer I’ve been keeping an eye on is Gwen Stefani and her irresistible L.A.M.B. line! Her designs never fail to pop with bright and funky accents, just like her. I’m not a huge fan of her current spring and fall collection, so I revisited her past 2008 collection and found the school-girl/retro numbers to still be fresh and wearable! A great way to add that fun and funky look is by choosing an electric color accent and working around it. I chose to do it with a red bag, but other great options include lush green, mustard yellow, bright blue or citrus orange. Add a few pieces of complementing rings, bangles and earrings and you’ll be ready for a stylish day out—and might I include, with lots of heads turning!
