iQOO U5 5G was revealed in China as the new affordable 5G smartphone from Vivo’s sub-brand. A few days back the company also announced iQOO Neo 5S and Neo 5 SE as affordable flagship phones. The new device comes with a fast refresh rate OLED display, dual rear camera, big battery, fast charging, Qualcomm’s 600 series 5G chipset, and more.

iQOO U5 5G features a 6.58 inches OLED display, Full-HD+ resolution, HDR 10, and 120Hz fast refresh rate. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core SoC that comes coupled with Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the smartphone boasts a dual rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera under the waterdrop notch. The device is running on Android 12 with Origin OS Ocean skin on top.
The smartphone is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity, the phone includes Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, 5G, 4G LTE, USB TYPE-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of Dimensions, the device measures 164 x 75.8 x 8.3mm and weighs 185 grams. Sensors onboard, the iQOO U5 sports an accelerometer, proximity, compass, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

iQOO U5 comes in three configurations:-

The phone comes in three color options namely Magic Blue, Dark Black, and Silver White. It is currently available for pre-order and will go for sale from January 1.
