The Dev-Team recently updated their jailbreaking tool redsn0w, and as you can see from the image above they have included the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 in the mix. Unfortunately, as you can see an iPhone 4S is plugged in and unable to click next. Does this mean that the jaikbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on iOS 5.1 is closer than we think? For now this version of Redsn0w only gives tethered jaikbreaks for iOS 5.1 on A4 devices. Pod2g and the rest of the jailbreak team are constantly working on finding vulnerabilities in 5.1 and are not sure when a jailbreak will be release.
