According to Xia Jingdong, the company's vice president, the Vivo X200 series is set to be one of the most significant flagship devices in the second half of this year. Recently, Vivo has seen strong performance in the high-end 4,000-6,000 yuan market segment in China, largely due to a significant influx of iPhone users switching devices. For those users who are used to the traditional flat-screen design of the iPhone, the Vivo X200 series is said to have a similar screen style to reduce the adjustment period and ease the transition.

The Vivo X200 series will offer advanced technology including a custom-designed sensor and imaging chip, a high-capacity battery system and a top-tier chipset backed by Blue Crystal technology. These details hint at possible specifications for the Vivo X200 series, including a 6.3-inch flat OLED (OLED) panel, a 22-nanometer 50-megapixel primary camera, the Vivo V3+ imaging chip, a 5,600 mAh battery, and a MediaTek Dimension 9400 processor.

The Vivo X200 series will likely run on the latest Origin OS 5 custom skin based on Android 15, which will power the Vivo X200 series. Jia Xingdong said the new version of Origin OS includes more efficient local processing of AI capabilities, which upgrades the natural interaction experience, and personalized service recommendations based on intent recognition.

According to a recent report, the Vivo X200 series will be launched in the third week of October. The lineup is expected to include Vivo X200, Vivo X200+, and Vivo X200 Pro, all powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.
