Tech giant Apple continues to announce its new iPhone lineup every year in September. A total of four models are launched each time. These are – Plus, Pro and Pro Max with a standard model. But in 2024, Tim Cook’s company may be about to change this practice. In fact, a popular tipster claims that the iPhone 16 series will include not four but five models this year. Chances are, the upcoming series will replace a non-pro phone with two new iPhone 16 SE models. Incidentally, the tipster shared the possible price, features, and even design of the upcoming iPhones through the X platform.

According to tipster Majin Bu, a total of five models may be introduced under the upcoming iPhone 16 series. For this the tech giant may be planning to integrate the iPhone SE series with their flagship lineup this year. Due to which, the lineup will likely include two new models named iPhone 16 SE and iPhone 16 Plus SE.
According to newly leaked renders, the SE models will offer a pill-shaped rear camera layout similar to the two iPhone Xs. On the other hand, the standard iPhone 16 version will offer a dual rear camera unit. Again the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max phones will come with a triple rear camera setup. All three handsets will have a pill-shaped camera bump positioned vertically.
A recent X post by tipster Majin Buu also revealed the features of the upcoming devices. The iPhone 16 SE is expected to feature a 6.1-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 16 Plus may come with a larger 6.7-inch touchscreen than the SE model, which will support a 60Hz refresh rate. Both the models are claimed to have the Dynamic Island feature. On the other hand, the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro variants will be offered with a 6.3-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. And the top-end iPhone 16 Pro Max may feature a 6.9-inch display panel with 120Hz refresh rate support.
Additionally, the tipster also shared the price of the upcoming iPhone 16 series. According to the post, the iPhone 16 SE (128GB storage option) may start at $699 (roughly Rs. 58,000). The 256GB storage variant of the iPhone 16 SE Plus may be priced at $799 (roughly Rs. 66,000). Again, the standard iPhone 16 model with 256 GB storage will be sold at a price of $699 (Tk 58,000). It is also known that the 256 GB storage version of iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be launched with a price of $999 (approximately Rs. 83,000) and $1,099 (approximately Rs. 91,000), respectively.
