The iPhone 16 series was launched earlier this month. The Pro models in this series come with multiple camera upgrade features. However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max model could not be at the top of DxOMark's ranking. Incidentally, this smartphone has a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max model scored 157 points in DxOMark's tests. With this point the device is ranked fourth in the premium camera segment. Honor Magic 6 Pro, Google Pixel 9 Pro and Huawei Pura 70 Ultra occupy the first three positions in this list.

iPhone 16 Pro Max camera review

  • Video recording: The iPhone 16 Pro Max lets you shoot great videos. The performance of the device in terms of video recording is similar to the Honor model. The phone has managed to maintain accurate colors even in low light.
  • Photo Performance: When it comes to photo capture, the iPhone 16 Pro Max didn't perform amazingly. Although the autofocus was fast and accurate, the colors were mediocre.
  • Zoom Limitations: The iPhone 16 Pro Max model has limitations when it comes to zoom. After 2x zoom the device couldn't capture the same photo.

Please note that the price of the 256 GB variant of iPhone 16 Pro Max in India has been kept at Rs 1,44,900. The sale of the device has started from last September 19. It can be purchased from online and offline Apple Stores as well as various e-commerce sites.
