It feels like the iPhone 12 is just dropping, but the rumor mill is already swinging over the iPhone 13 in the fall as Apple’s flagship event. But on April 20, there’s also a “Loaded Spring” Apple case. A variety of themes are under discussion, as usual: are we to see an iPhone pliable? What about a little bit smaller? And Apple’s going to wreck the port of Lightning? There are several rumors about the iPhone 13 features, but we’re concentrating here on some of the most reliable ones to help us get an idea of what we can expect of the next-generated iPhone.
We are now awaiting four models: the 13 iPhone, 13 Mini iPhone, 13 Pro iPhone, and 13 Pro Max iPhone. However, to be honest, we can’t be sure the iPhone 13 name is used. Rumors say that Apple would instead use iPhone 12S, meaning only a slight update of the iPhone 12 that has undergone some major modifications, such as the launch of 5G and the design upgrade. Apart from the planned incremental updates to processors and batteries, the next iPhone family is what you would expect.

iPhone 13 won’t be a foldable: iPhone 13 features
The iPhone 12 range has seen a notable upgrade, so it is doubtful that an iPhone 13s will have a big glow. I’m scared, 2021, probably won’t be the year you hit the shelves If you’d hit the foldable iPhone (if it ever does). Instead, the iPhone 5’s flat sides and the same four sizes, beginning with the smallest 5.4-inch iPhone Mini up to an expansive 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, make us hear about a similar ‘slabular’ design.
As far as architecture is concerned, I’m hopeful for a smaller or (more importantly) a completely untouched display. But Apple needs to first understand how to position the Face ID camera modules under the screen. On the basis of a few recent rumors, this aspect of design can lead to the iPhone 13.
Lightning port? Looks like it’s here to stay (for now)
The reporter, Ming-Chi Kuo, once noted that the Lightning port was killed by Apple, making way for a completely portless handset. The introduction by Apple of MagSafe to the iPhone 12 seemed to give this assertion weight.

But for now, at least Kuo is reverting to his portless iPhone statement. A recent study from Apple insider states that MagSafe is not a sufficiently mature ecosystem, but that Apple can rely solely on this ecosystem to charge the iPhone 13. This means Apple must keep its port as it is unlikely that the USB-C will happen on the iPhone.
120Hz display likely
One function which the screen is rumored to alter in a remarkable way. Kuo believes that the two iPhone 13 Pro models will be using LTPO technology to provide 120 Hz of a refresh rate, as we heard in previous rumors. This is a feature already present on Android phones like the high-end Galaxy S21 series from Samsung, as well as Redmi 10 Pro, which is easily afforded by Xiaomi. Although Apple does not reveal refresh rates, all iPhone 12 versions have a refresh rate of 60Hz, which matches the iPhone 11 display.
Prices should standstill
As I said previously, do not hesitate to update the iPhone 13 groundbreaking technology, which may include gradual updates. This makes it possible that analysts expect iPhone 13 to be priced at the rate of $799 (£799, AU $1,349) on the iPhone 12. Add to the mix the fact that the iPhone 12 contributed to Apple’s largest quarter of sales and profit, and when it comes to pricing, Apple seems likely to push the button again.
