The biggest differences between the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 12 will likely be the specs. This is what we expect from the iPhone 12.
Four iPhone 12 models
It is possible that we will see four iPhone 12s Introduced on Tuesday: the iPhone 12 Mini (5.4 inches), the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro (6.1 inches) and the iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7 inches). For comparison, there are only three iPhone 11s: the iPhone 11 (6.1 inch), the iPhone 11 Pro (5.8 inches) and the iPhone 11 Pro max (6.5 inches).
Increased refresh rate
There is speculation that the iPhone 12 will appear will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a ProMotion displaythat you can currently find on the iPad Pro. Most phones (including the iPhone 11) update at 60 frames per second, or 60 Hz, but some like that Galaxy S20 and the OnePlus 8 Pro, update at 120Hz. The higher the refresh rate, the faster and smoother a phone feels when scrolling through apps and websites.
Better cameras
As is common with new iPhones, you can assume that the iPhone 12's cameras will be updated through the iPhone 11. The iPhone 11 has a photo night mode and a Ultra wide angle camera This can add extra detail to photos, along with a great video camera. There were rumors that the iPhone 12 might add one Time-of-flight cameraLike the Galaxy Note 10 Plus to capture depth information. This could do a number of things like help with AR mapping, but it could also mean you finally get the chance to use portrait mode in video.
The addition of 5G
One of the expected biggest new features of the iPhone 12 is Next generation 5G cellular connection. Apple's invitation to the event begins with "Hi, Speed," which leads us to believe that the new phones are finally getting 5G connectivity, as virtually all new Android phones in the US already have. This means the phones can access the high-speed wireless network while on the go - it seems a little less exciting during the pandemicBecause we spend more time at home, but your device is still future-proof for the rise of 5G.
The iPhone 11 doesn't offer 5G connectivity, although a lot of people seem to do believe it does.
price
The base model of the iPhone 11 for 2019 was $ 699, $ 50 less than the iPhone XR for 2018.
