It’s high time I revealed some of the projects that have been taking over my life keeping me busy since last year, starting with the biggest one by far: I’m one of the organizers of Porto Photo Fest, an international photography festival taking place in Porto later this year, from September 11-17, 2017:

I’ve included a batch of infographics I’ve made for the Porto Photo Fest Instagram account, using images by the photographer being promoted. The exceptions are the top picture, which is mine from the F1H2O boat race in 2015, and the image below, which is from last month.
Porto Photo Fest is not an “exhibit and wine” kind of festival that’s common in the art scene. The briefest description I have coined has been “learning summit”, as the intensity of the workshops and masterclasses will overtake the pressure of networking found at a trade show or conference. In addition to the workshops and masterclasses during the week, there will be auctioned dinners with the teaching photographers (and talent agent), plus giveaways and contests in the months leading up to the festival.
