"We met during our first year of University in Canterbury, back in 2012. We first noticed each other in the lecture hall and then bumped in to each other at an ABC party (Anything but clothes) soon after, which involved some terrible attempts at Greek togas using bed sheets or bin bags. We got on like a house on fire and have ever since - I guess the only way was up after initially meeting in bin bags. "
"Connor proposed in Naxos. We'd visited Saint Anna Winery late afternoon and as we were riding our rental scooter back down the hills to the heart of Naxos Town, Connor pulled over. The sun was setting beautifully beyond the horizon between two hills and so he said he wanted to get some photos of it. We got some selfies and I was snapping away, and as I was Connor was behind me on one knee. I turned around and that's when he asked me to marry him. "
"For both of us, our favourite moment was walking down the aisle, surprisingly! For me (Connor) I will never forget that moment when I turned around and saw Emma walking down the aisle. The dress, her smile, she looked so beautiful. That moment will stick with me forever. And likewise for Emma, after hours of getting ready, to walk down the aisle and get to see everyone there and to see Connor waiting for me at the altar, I was filled with so much joy. "
"We kept our wedding aesthetics and the decorations quite minimal and classic - green and whites. Our wedding venue, Liopetro, was so beautiful already that a minimal touch was all that was really needed. The bouquet had white roses and white gypsophila with green foliage, the ceremony had white chair drapes, and at dinner we decorated the tables with eucalyptus table runners, classic candlestick holders and some tea lights. "
