If you love intimate beach weddings, this lovely wedding in Ithaca is the one for you. The couple sealed their love in the Ionian Island with an intimate ceremony overlooking the endless blue. Ithaki Weddings brought to life the couple’s vision, creating a floral arch decorated with peonies and roses in bright pink and orange tones. and an impressive bridal bouquet with the same pretty florals. “Stuart proposed whilst taking a boat ride around Ithaca (where we had our first ever holiday together). He stopped at Kedros Beach and popped the question whilst still on the boat”, the bride shared with us.
“We chose roses, peonies and carnations in colors of pinks and peach with draping green foliage. We had an arch on the beach, decorated in white voile, with two bouquets of flowers which complimented the bouquets. We had pale pink and beige floor cushions for the guests to sit on whilst the ceremony took place. The wedding breakfast decor had a table runner made up of the same flowers we had for the ceremony… and tea lights. The chairs had pale pink bows attached to them. We enjoyed the whole day. It was just perfect!”
“Getting off the boat at the beach, and being greeted by my son, to do the honor of walking me along the beach to my future husband were some of my favorite moments. And seeing Stuart and my family waiting for me. Another favorite moment was of myself and Stuart saying ‘I do’”.
“I had a fitted, lace, ivory dress, with a small trial. It had spaghetti straps and a stunning low back with small buttons down the length”.
