Instrumental Wednesday :: "A Musing" by Miss Crowley

By Ventipop @ventipop

Closing out the strangest March of our lives with the short, sweet and disjointed "Musing" by Miss Crowley. It's off Miss Crowley's debut record When The Sun Changes Its Colour which I've featured before. When The Sun... is one of my favorite records of the year. It's one of those records best listened to from beginning to end which is rare these days.

Miss Crowley Biography

Claire and Mert both started writing songs at a very young ages in their native lands; Ireland and Turkey. Later they met each other in İstanbul and started writing songs from that moment on to create their first debut "When The Sun Changes It's Colour". While the duo keeps writing new songs and performing in İstanbul, their musical synergy expanded with the participation of new talented musicians; Murat Çopur, Gülşah Erol and Kerem Öktem. After the formation, the band spread their music with live performances in İstanbul's alternative spaces like book store, art studio, ancient church to well-known venues and festivals across Turkey and Europe. The band released 3 singles and numerous music videos through collaboration with independent artists to tell their stories in various forms. After a short time of reflection, Miss Crowley is getting ready to spread their music all around the globe with performances and explorative artistic collaborations.
