Honestly, a win is a win. You take them any way you can get them even when you can only muster up 268 yards of actual offense. This game was ugly for the Bills but I’m not going to complain too much about a win. Just know that this offense looks terrible. Spiller is about half healthy, Jackson’s knee looks like it’s about to blow and Thad Lewis just scares the hell out of me.
Mario Williams continues to get after the quarterback.
The defense though, keeps making plays. A pick 6 to begin the game, a strip sack to set up the game winning field goal and Aaron Williams‘ interception in the first half that killed a drive that should have ended in three points for the Dolphins are the highlights. These guys are undermanned, injured and still grinding. Mario Williams is definitely earning that paycheck now, people. It took a little while yesterday, but his two late sacks of the quarterback were huge.
At 3-4 we’re still in the hunt but New Orleans next week in New Orleans, coming off a bye is just down right scary. I might have to hide my eyes for most of that game. I can only hope that the defense plays unreal and we make a few plays on offense. I’ll keep my hopes up that being back in the dome means that Doug Marrone will open up the playbook and get our playmakers in space.
