Instagram just released tools for scheduling content and achievements to give artists rewards for their reels. Also, Instagram users will soon be able to support creators by buying non-fungible tokens (NFTs) right from the app.
With the scheduling tool, Reels, photos, and scrollable posts from professional Instagram accounts can now be set up to 75 days in advance. Live Mint says that you can find this feature in Instagram’s Advanced Settings.
The achievements features are also being tested on the Meta-run social networking platform, according to reports. With this feature, Reel creators will be able to earn achievements when they complete certain tasks. Users can work with other creators, include their community by sharing reels, and keep people interested by using audio and effects that are popular at the moment.
People who have shared their Instagram reels will be notified when they earn achievements. If they click “Discover,” they can see more information.
According to the company, users will soon be able to help creators by buying their non-fungible tokens (NFTs) directly from Instagram.
The company says that a small group of US creators will test these features, and in the future, Meta plans to roll them out to more countries.
Meta is said to have made Instagram memberships available to all eligible U.S. creators in order to give them a more stable way to make money.
The internet giant is also putting out Reels and adding gifts to Instagram. This will give creators a new way to make money from the people who follow them.
In related news, Meta has decided to lay off 13% of its employees, which amounts to over 11,000 people. This is one of the biggest layoffs in recent history, and it’s the first time Meta has had to let people go in 18 years.
