I'm a fan of the author. I decided to read Insomnia because the TV series piqued my interest. I haven't seen it but it's definitely on my watchlist after reading this. I enjoyed this book a lot. It's the kind of twisty thriller I enjoy reading where nothing is as it seems and you're not sure what the truth is. Is Emma losing her mind like her mother did just before she turned 40? Or is someone out to get Emma and made her think she's mad? Is something more insidious and sinister going on? I enjoyed all the twists and turns and misdirection and the way the story unfolds. I'd recommend this.
