Inside True Blood Blog’s Gianna Sobol, who also happens to be creator and executive producer Alan Ball’s assistant has posted a new entry on the blog this week. The subject of today’s post? What’s coming in season 5? The response she got from Alan is as follows:
“We’re really going to find out what the vampire Authority is all about.”
And indeed we are! In recent weeks I’ve posted a casting call which makes reference to members of the authority. You can find a description of all the characters called so far here. Christopher Meloni best known for his roles on Law and Order: SVU and the HBO series OZ has also joined the cast as a powerful vampire who holds the fates of Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) in his hands. More details can be seen here. Is he an authority member as well?
Something tells me that Nan Flanagan (Jessica Tuck), whose picture was featured in this week’s entry was a small part of a pretty big entity!
