World famous electric vehicle manufacturer BYD is coming to the country with a big surprise during the festive season. The Chinese company will launch the eMax 7 MPV in India on October 8. It is actually the facelift version of the BYD e6 Electric MPV (Multipurpose Vehicle). The deliveries of BYD eMax 7 will start from the festive season itself. Battery, Range, Features
The BYD eMax 7 is available in two battery pack options in the global market – the 55.4 kWh variant offers a range of 420 km. And the 71.8 kWh battery pack is capable of running up to 530 km on a full charge. Remember, this is the certified range.
The dual motor setup in the high-capacity battery version is capable of producing a maximum of 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. Whereas the five-seater layout is present in the e6 model. Leather upholstery can be used to bring a premium touch to the new car. Apart from this, the cabin will have various advanced features including large touchscreen, panoramic sunroof.
The BYD e6 is currently priced at Rs 29.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas the Atto 3 electric SUV costs Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming eMax 7 is expected to be priced between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 33 lakh (ex-showroom).
