Verdict on Inherit the Witch
Inherit the Witch is a horror thriller following family members who reunite after years apart when their father passes away. It stirs up old memories that have consumed them over the years, but more disturbingly, an evil power which wants to take what they have.
This movie dives into sibling’s relationships after their father passes away. All connected to something supernatural, which could bring them closer together or push them further apart. It is difficult to find anything overly positive about this movie. Most scenes come off quite snobbish, which is by design because of the entitled feeling the family has. It doesn’t feel as connected as it wants to be and focuses more on a series of incidents, rather than one bigger event. There is an involvement of occult behavior and I am sure fans of the sub-genre of horror will enjoy that element of the movie.

Final Thoughts – Inherit the Witch fails to capture the occult nature of the story.
