Infographic – The Ultimate Houseplant Cheat Sheet

By Kravelv @kravelv

It’s surprising how few plants we keep indoors. We understand how important they are in an outdoor environment but don’t seem to realize how beneficial they can be indoors. This infographic from Capital Garden Services takes you through some of the best houseplants for your home and actually fills you on the best plant for each room!

Many people don’t realize the importance of having clean air in their homes, as a lack of it can actually increase our chances of getting a stroke or heart disease. Plants can clean the air in rooms for you!

Right, so you might be saying that you don’t want to have to take care of plants, but many of these require very little attention. For example, the broadleaf lady palm needs minimal sunlight and you will only need to water it every two to three days.

A fantastic option for the bedroom is the snake plant as it only needs minimal sunlight and water once or twice a month. That shouldn’t be too hard, right?!

Why not have a quick read through the infographic to see if any catch your eye? You could buy one or two of them, to begin with, and see how you get on. The piece also offers some general advice on plant care and explains why overwatering plants can actually kill them. Enjoy!
