Before we get on with the review let me just say one thing first Infinix Note 7 cost $200. Yup, you heard that right $200 and you really won’t believe why? This phone costs so less when it offers so much and this is my review of the infinix note 7. Let’s get the specs right out of the way.

It features an octa-core MediaTek helio g70 with two of the cores clocked at 2 gigahertz and the rest at 1.7 gigahertz. It’s got a mali g52 GPU 128 gigabytes of storage with 4 gigs of ram 1640 by 720 seven inch screen. Four cameras at the back and a gigantic five thousand milliamp-hour battery that supports proprietary fast charging. The phone feels very solidly made and feels comfortable in the hands. On the back, it’s got that quad-camera setup with the quad flashes and a really nice x design that reveals a lot of colors from different angles on the front.
You get the selfie camera with a hole punch design and a front fairing speaker. It’s got the volume rocker on the right with the power button just below which conveniently houses the fingerprint sensor and let me just talk about the sensor. It is super fast just look at this it instantly unlocks your phone. The moment you touch it it is crazy fast coming to the bottom of the phone you get the speaker USB port and a relic of the past a headphone jack I can’t thank infinix enough for this. On the left, you find the dual sim tray and an sd card slot that lets you expand the storage by up to 2 terabytes. Coming to the display.
You can easily spot the hole punch on the top which you can find in more premium phones. But the screen is 720p though and it might be a bit of a stretch on a 7-inch screen but again that $200 price can easily justify that also that 720p screen does make your battery last a lot longer as far as color is concerned. It uses an IPS LCD screen that produces some really rich and vibrant colors with decent brightness. Now the combo of the processor GPU and battery makes this phone really great for gaming. I mean for $200 you wouldn’t really expect much. The note 7 easily plays pubg in HD graphics with 30 fps and low graphics can easily dish out 60fps for a silky smooth experience.
The game plays smoothly without any lags and stutters plus that 5000mah battery just makes it better. I mean you can easily play pubg for like 6 hours straight on a single charge and even if it does run out of juice. You can easily fast-charge it with. The proprietary fast charging other games like asphalt and mobile legends also play amazingly. Even newly released games like gentian impact don’t lag. And, the best thing about all of this is that not even. Once did I feel the note 7 become hot this phone is really cool even after intensive gaming sessions.
The cameras on the inifinix note 7 aren’t really much to talk about but it does produce some great pictures for the price. The 48-megapixel main camera performs really well in the day. Especially with that ai camera feature and the night mode really adds a lot of colors and dehaze to make night shots look pretty good and the depth sensor works its magic to produce some decent looking portraits. Plus that macro camera is a nice addition too. Now the selfie camera does tend to wash out a lot of colors but it’s decent enough for one thing.
The infinix note 7 does better than its competitors is the colors are good and it feels more natural coming to daily use. The phone feels very smooth doing normal tasks like browsing the web doesn’t make the phone started from time to time like I’ve seen on phones in this price range. Although load times are a bit long for opening games the battery can easily last you about 2 days on a single charge and the 5000 mah battery takes about 2 and a half hours to fully charge. The phone also uses android 10 although the skin on top feels a bit bloaty. It does have some really good features like this swipe feature which gives you easy access to apps and important features like screen recording and screenshot. The folders also have this great feature of easily swiping between folders here.
You get different wallpapers and themes that you can easily apply and when you swipe down from the home screen. You also get news and topics you want so even though the UI is a bit bloaty the features make up for it. Coming to the speakers the dual speakers are loud and have a decent sound quality which is great for daily use and also something you won’t get on other budget phones. So all in all it’s a really well-built device that plays games smoothly and a solid contender for the daily driver at this price. The dual driver’s battery and overall feel of the phone make this a steal and make you wonder why exactly this phone only costs $200.
