Story: Infested starts when a resident of a rundown apartment building Kaleb (Christine) buys a spider for his collection. He supplies residents with questionably collected trainers as he looks to maintain his collection of rare creatures. However, his spider escapes the temporary home he uses.
Kaleb must work with the other residents to hunt down his spider, which has started breeding. They face a threat that is hunting people down, and they have no plan of attack. Let alone knowing how many they are facing.
Verdict on Infested
Infested is a horror movie following the residents of an apartment building dealing with an infestation of spiders. The spiders breed rapidly and spread through the building, leading to a desperate race to escape.
This movie injects the creature feature formula with a fresh lick of paint. The speed the spiders reproduce creates chaos and a deadly threat to everyone. Add in the tight halls and apartment rooms, with plenty of crawling space, we see terrifying numbers. This creates a non-stop feeling with a relentless nature and a terrifying backbone. The chase sequences are intense and filled with threats and not knowing how to stop them becomes the biggest battle. If you are afraid of spiders, this will push you to any limits you have. It is easily the scariest spider movie I have seen.
