Indus Flavour, GTB Nagar, New Delhi

By Rohit Dassani

Indus Flavour is located on the main road very near to the GTB Nagar Metro Station. The place is quite popular among students of the Delhi University. The seating is quite comfortable and the ambiance is sleek. Though the place is known for their North Indian and Mughlai cuisines, their Chinese is also quite popular.

Let me tell you that I was probably the first customer on a Sunday afternoon and the service was not smooth and some of the chores were still pending. Well their opening time is 11am and I was there at 12:30pm, but, the waiters were still busy preparing the tables. The order took some-time. The order is taken on a tablet and they even have a very unique reward program for loyal customers. The combo’s here are very interesting but are only available during some parts of the day.

We ordered a Veg Fried Rice and Chili Panner Gravy along with a Fresh Lime Soda. Once the orders were taken the service was steady. The quantity of the rice and the curry was enough for 2 people. The Fried Rice was flavorful and the Chili Panner was amazing. But both the gravy and the Rice smelled of burnt oil, which was probably used to fry other stuff again and again. The Fresh Lime Soda was good.
