Now signed to Wichita Recordings and ahead of a tour supporting Bad Sounds, Spectral Nights favourites Indoor Pets have released new single ‘Hi’ and the song is full of the bouncy hooks and self-depreciating humor we’ve all come to love from the four-piece. Jamie Glass opens the song over quirky riffs and big drums by pondering the fact that he’ll ‘never graduate. En-rock Enrolled into the debate team’ before then going on to almost proudly state how ‘I’ll never put that right. Put right that course. I’ll never get that high. Get that high horse’. It’s a fine piece of slacker pop in the vein of Dinosaur Jr or The Cribs’ poppier moments but with the self-awareness of ‘Wasted and Ready’-era Ben Kweller.
