Verdict on Indigo
Indigo is a horror mystery following a family haunted by an evil spirit. It connects itself to the youngest members of the family, as it looks to take over their lives. Now, a specialist who escaped its control before has returned to fight back and save the family.
This is a horror that continues the impressive run of Indonesian horror movies. It grabs the demonic idea and runs with it to a new committed level. There are great haunting moments, with the demon’s presentation being terrifying. The movie is filled with genuinely unsettling scenes which increase the horror from start to finish. There is also a focus on a potential bigger picture, which brings plenty of mystery behind the hauntings.
