Lamb 1 Pound washed and cut into small piecesOil 2 tbspOnion 2 thinly sliced
Green chilly 2 chopped
Ginger and Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Cloves 2
Cinnamon 1/2 inch piece
Roma tomatoes 2 chopped
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves to garnishInstructions:
- In a heavy bottom pan heat oil and add cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.
- Add chopped onion and green chillies.Sauté until it is translucent.
- Now add the chopped tomato,chilly powder, turmeric powder and sauté further for 2 mins.
- Add mutton pieces, salt and combine well.
- Add 1/2 a cup of water,cover and allow to cook, till the oil separates and the meat becomes tender.
- Serve hot with steamed Basmati rice!
