India’s AI Supercomputer ‘AIRAWAT’ Created History, Got This Ranking in TOP-100 Countries

AI Supercomputer AIRAWAT: India’s AI supercomputer ‘AIRAWAT’ has made waves in the world of technology. This supercomputer of India has secured 75th position in the list of world’s most powerful supercomputers. Let us tell you, Airawat is India’s largest and fastest AI supercomputer system, which has been installed at Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Pune. This system has been installed by the Government of India under the National Program on AI. Apart from this, 3 more supercomputers of India are included in this list. Let’s know all the details.

The 61st International Supercomputing Conference (ISC 2023) was held in Germany on Tuesday. The list of Top-500 Global Supercomputers was released during this conference. India’s AI supercomputer ‘AIRAWAT’ has got 75th place in this list.

AIRAWAT is manufactured by Netweb Technologies. This supercomputer works on Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS operating system. Furthermore, it is powered by AMD EPYC 7742 64C 2.25GHz processor with 81,344 cores.

These 3 supercomputers are also included in the list of 500-

Param Siddhi- PARAM Siddhi AI Supercomputer has received a ranking of 131. The Param Siddhi supercomputer is equipped with features such as NVIDIA DGX A100, AMD EPYC 7742 64C 2.25GHz, NVIDIA A100, Mellanox HDR Infiniband, Atos. This computer has also been installed in C-DAC, Pune.

Pratyush supercomputer- Pratyush supercomputer has got 169th rank in this list. Apart from this, this computer is also equipped with features like Cray XC40, Xeon E5-2695v4 18C 2.1GHz, Aries interconnect, HPE. It has been installed at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology.

Mihir supercomputer- The last Indian supercomputer in this list is the Mihir supercomputer. It is equipped with features like Cray XC40, powered by Xeon E5-2695v4 18C 2.1GHz, Aries interconnect, HPE. It has been installed at the National Center for Medium Range Weather Forecasting.
