Incognito Mode Feature Came in ChatGPT, Now No Chat Will Be Saved

Open AI has Chat GPT Incognito Mode privacy feature has been rolled out for. This feature will keep the conversation between the user and the chatbot private, that is, it will not record the conversation between the users and the chatbot. The San Francisco-based start-up company is currently testing the feature for users with a ChatGPT Business subscription. Premium users will get this feature as well as additional data control features.

The start-up company has decided to bring this feature after several conversations of ChatGPT were leaked. Italy banned ChatGPT last month due to lack of privacy and said that the platform should provide such tools to its customers, using which they can control their data processing. France and Spain are also preparing to ban ChatGPT in privacy matters.

Business Subscription Plan

OpenAI’s chief technology officer Mira Murati told Reuters that the company is compliant with European Union privacy rules and assures regulators about its services. The company believes that this new feature has not come after the ban in Italy. OpenAI has been working on this data collection feature for a long time. The business subscription of ChatGPT will be rolled out over the coming months. The chat history of users with this subscription will not be stored.

The ChatGPT generative artificial intelligence tool has been in the news ever since its launch in November last year. This AI chatbot from Microsoft and OpenAI answers the questions asked like humans. Users are posting on social media platforms by asking strange questions from this tool. Recently a user asked it to write a short story about its end, so this tool wrote its horror story, after which many users have also expressed sympathy on this tool. Due to the privacy policy in some countries, preparations are also being made to ban it.
