Verdict on In Tenebras: Into the Darkness
Recap
The movie follows three siblings who go on a treasure hunt in an abandoned military base. However, they inadvertently release an unknown presence and find themselves fighting for their lives. Meanwhile, the military looks to clean up the act before it spreads too far.
Best Parts
The world created is interesting, and the idea of a mysterious treasure hidden during the war feels real. Once we hit the horror marks, we get more intense with the events happening.
Worst Parts
The movie has a massive weakness and that is that it wants to spend more time setting up a sequel, which doesn’t give us enough in this outing. This also holds up the intensity and while the world creation is interesting, a lot tends to come out of nowhere.
Final Thoughts –In Tenebras: Into the Darkness presents an interesting idea, but spends more time setting up a sequel.
