Generally speaking when we're talking weather and the month of march it's said that it comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Weather here in New England I would exactly say has followed that motto, but then again weather here in New England rarely follows any sort of trend. We started out the month with mild temperatures and unseasonably warm and today, the last day of March, has been cold and rainy and in farther northern areas of New England there has been snow. Yup, that is weather in New England.
But my life in the month of March has played out a lot like this saying has.
We started out March rough
We had a heck of a time to start the month of March. A delay again in our tax return quickly followed by our only vehicle breaking down and being completely not worth fixing. My husband then was passed up for a promotion which absolutely should have been his at work! It seemed that everything that could go wrong did go wrong for us. It was stressful, frustrating, and just in general a rough time.
We ended March on a much better note
I worked hard to find the good in things. I'm still furious about my husband's work. I'm sorry, but they really just did him wrong. Normally I wouldn't say anything about this stuff in a public place like this, but I'm pretty sure his bosses know that they screwed him. That he is upset. And that it in general is a sucky situation.
But he has been on vacation. He is happy not having to be there. And we for the final day of March we got a brand new van which everyone can fit in. We of course were fortunate enough to have some awesome friends give us a car to use for the time we were without a car. While we couldn't fit the whole family in the car we were still able to get around by mid March. And now we are able to get around as a family which was very important.
So even though New England weather hasn't exactly been in like a lion and out like a lamb this year I can certainly say our life has been very much like that this month. I am happy to have it end and end on a good note for us.
Hello April!
Are you happy to see March end and April begin?
