Plot: Four twenty-somethings and three businessmen are hunted by a terrible monster, while a former minister prepares to do battle with the ancient evil.

Story: In Its Wake starts when three businessmen, Mitch (Murphy), Sean (Kasan) and Sam (Scott) are traveling to their latest meeting. Meanwhile, Amy (Foskett), Laura (Godbout), Tim (Heels) and Manny (Bemister) are having their own road trip. However, both vehicles find themselves breaking down in the middle of nowhere.
When both parties start looking for help, they find themselves getting attacked by an unknown threat. Along with the local residents, the people must hide from an evil they never imagined seeing. People must put their differences aside and look to save themselves from the horror waiting for them.
Verdict on In Its Wake
In Its Wake is a creature feature horror following a group of people that get stranded in a remote snowy mountain and find themselves being attacked by an unknown threat. It follows the two groups of people that find themselves getting stranded and needing to put their difference aside. All while a much more disturbing truth comes out.
This is a creature feature that gets the victims stranded well and gives us a great concept behind the bigger picture. However, the two groups don’t get to spend enough time dealing with the problems they face. The creature is something you would never want to meet, becoming terrifying when it finds a victim. At the end of the day, this is an entertaining creature feature that you can enjoy the blood splatter throughout.
Final Thoughts –In Its Wake is a fun creature feature.
