In a Galazy Far, Far Away...

By Louisa @louisaioannou

In early 2011 we saw Dolce and Gabbana's lacey Spring collection erupt into one of the hottest looks on the red carpet. And it looks like they've done it again this season! Now D&G has us seeing stars with their newest trend! The Italian fashion house pioneered the look in their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, with the bold print splashed on everything from body-cons to skinny trousers to flowing maxis. Since then, it has become huge hit, among A-listers, with the likes of Jessica Alba, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Wilde and RosarioDawson rocking the look on the red carpet. So, what is it that is making this star print fly off the shelves? Well D&G have cleverly fused a fun print with sexy silhouettes; a great way to combine girly and sultry = irresistible! But not all of us have the hefty bank balance to indulge in beautiful D&G dresses, so it's a good thing that the good old British high street has produced some fabulously on-trend pieces:starsRow 1: Blue bandeau playsuit: Topshop, £26.00 | Navy playsuit: Topshop, £28.00 | Jumpsuit: Oasis, £70.00 | Trousers: Dolce & Gabbana, £320.00 | Metal ring: Whistles, £10.00 | Pattern tights: Monsoon, £8.00 | Cape: Miss Selfridge, £29.00.
